"It felt good to be in a program with Native people who had shared experiences. I want to thank Redbud Resource Group for organizing all of these cultural exchanges where we learned about the different ways that tribal people are making positive changes in their communities".

"It was an amazing experience being a part of the Restoring Right Relations program. A year filled with so many highlights from genuine laughter, meeting elders, and learning of the old ways. It's hard to choose just one moment to call my favorite. I love the sense of family and support that comes from being a part of this group and restoring right relations with the Native American community".

"My name is Christina Lara, and I am the program manager for TERA. In August 2024, I had the honor of working with Redbud Resource Group on their Building Right Relationships Program. We were honored to host a two-day program with their Native Leaders in Lake County. We wanted to ensure the participants got the full scope of TERA, its mission, and project work, which aims to strengthen native environmental stewardship and voices in the community. After the detailed planning period, TERA and RRG met at Robinson Rancheria Dance grounds, one of our Tribal partner's sacred spaces. From the beginning, it was like a family as we all shared our experiences with Fire, then moved towards sharing TERA's eco-cultural curriculum. On the second day, we shared a meal and demonstrated Primrose removal work at Xabatin Community Park. We were welcomed and greeted by our cherished local elder, Ron Montez. The visit definitely built our relationship with TERA and Redbud Resource Group's program participants. I personally felt like it was a reunion of friends and family. We appreciate all the hard work that Redbud does on a daily basis and look forward to another year."
